After a quiet winter, the Tom Glenne 5.5 have an exciting tour to announce for the summer of '11, and big news about iTunes.

This July drummer Scott Cale, core member of Tom's band from the 90s, will drive down for a series of duo shows from Squilax back to Edmonton. This is the first time in ten years that the band will be playing material from the .married album (see music section).

CBC Radio's Definitely Not the Opera once questioned Tom for keeping 500 copies of the .married album in a storage locker in Victoria after he'd stopped playing the tunes, but it looks like he and Scott might have the last laugh.

Of course they'll also be doing the originals and covers from Free Rock, White Soul and Live at the Glenn Lake Inn (see music section) that audiences from Montreal to Nanaimo have appreciated over the band's twenty years of performing. Tom and Scott are very excited to see how the old songs will sort out! Dates will be available June 1, or keep an eye on the band's myspace.

Thanks to the support of Richard Summerbell our last album Free Rock is up on iTunes. Please consider buying it, and recommending it to friends, as each purchase will help fund the next record, which we're very eager to get to you.

Plans are also afoot for a tour in August and September to cover much more of the country. Email tom@yap.com to get on the mailing list. Thanks for reading.
