Where can I view the details of my transactions?
You can view all your transactions and the details on your YAP dashboard. You can also view monthly statements either directly in the app or sent to your email.
Why did my transaction get declined?
Your card or your transaction request could decline due to one or more of the following reasons:
- A technical error at the point of sale (the card reader or ATM could not read your card).
- The PIN code was incorrect.
- You have an insufficient balance in your account to complete the purchase or withdrawal.
- YAP does not recognize the merchant or point of sale as a secure and reliable source to continue the payment transaction.
- YAP has reason to suspect unauthorized or illegal use of your account.
- Your card has expired.
- Your account has been suspended (either by YAP or an authorized legal authority).
- In case of a technical or PIN-related error, simply try to complete the transaction again. If the problem reoccurs, please contact our customer support team.
Will I be notified of all my transactions?
After every successful transaction, you will see it on your dashboard and receive a notification. Make sure you have turned on notifications from YAP in your phone settings and within the app too.
How do I view my statements?
On your YAP dashboard, select cards from the bottom navigation menu. Select the card that you would like to see the statements for, then click on the three dots on the top right of the screen and select view statement. If you need a stamped bank statement, please contact the YAP customer support team. Charges may apply.
How can I transfer money through YAP?
You can make a local transfer within the UAE or international transfers through the app. Click on the main button at the bottom of your app dashboard, where you will find options to transfer within and outside the YAP network.
